Privacy
Privacy and usage analytics.
Surface is the portfolio and independent work hub of Bartosz Bąk. This page explains how consent-based analytics are used to understand visits and improve the experience.
Measurement
A shared stream, with Surface clearly identified.
Surface uses Google Analytics through the same GA4 Measurement ID and web stream as Zafiro. Events from this site include site_id: surface, allowing Surface activity to be separated from activity in other products.
Your choice
Google Analytics loads only after you allow it.
Before consent, Surface does not load the Google Analytics tag or send analytics events. If you decline, analytics remains disabled. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization and Google signals remain disabled.
Your decision is stored locally in this browser on the Surface origin. It contains only whether analytics was granted or denied. You can change that decision at any time through Analytics preferences in the footer.
Measured categories
Limited signals about how the public site is used.
- Page views and engagement with public pages.
- Traffic source and medium.
- Device category and approximate region.
- Important calls to action, identified by stable technical IDs.
Data boundaries
Surface does not send personal contact or form data.
Analytics events do not include an email address, text entered by a visitor, link text or free-form descriptions. Important link events contain only controlled identifiers and a destination URL without query parameters or fragments.
